The ICE PTO is partnering with Leading Note Studios to bring music to the students of ICE. Each Wednesday, starting Sept. 12, the students will be learning and enjoying the fundamentals of music taught by Shantaya Whittaker.

She will be teaching 4th graders the recorder and 5th graders the kazoo. We have ordered each student his or her own recorder or kazoo to keep at the end of the year. The cost is $6 for recorders and $4 for kazoo. Please submit payment as soon as you can so we can get the instruments to the students for the start of music class.

You can also write a check and drop it in the metal lock box marked PTO BOX outside Mrs Gaddis’ office.

Make sure to note your child’s name in the order notes section of the payment section so they will receive their instrument! (If you are in need of financial assistance please contact Donelle Anderson).

This is going to be a memorably musical year!
